Ryan specializes in helping grassroots campaigns advance their messaging, organizing, and public relations. He has a passion for environmental causes, and launched his career supporting fishermen in their fight for water against corporate agriculture in California’s Central Valley. He developed the first national crisis response network around LGBT issues in schools. He previously managed outreach and media relations for GroundSpark’s Respect For All Project, and interned for non-profits in Namibia and South Africa. He holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Stanford University.
