Renewables Now: Greenbacker buying 19-MW shovel-ready PV project in Michigan

 New York-based Greenbacker Renewable Energy Corp has agreed to acquire a 19-MW ready-to-be-built solar project in Michigan.

Earlier this week, the company unveiled an agreement to buy a 27.7-MW solar project portfolio in Vermont from Encore Renewable Energy. All 14 projects in it are expected to be commissioned over the next 12 months.
