Elza Vucane
Elza Vucane has experience in partnerships management, communications, and business growth. Her insights have consistently contributed to forming strategic alliances, driving successful collaborations, and improving market reach.
Elza completed her bachelor's degree in International Economics and Commercial Diplomacy at the University of Latvia, and a study program focused on International Affairs at George Mason University through The Fund for American Studies. During this time, she interned at the Latvian Embassy to the USA in Washington, D.C., and the San Diego World Affairs Council. After graduating, she worked in business development in the tech industry. With a strong interest in clean energy and nature conservation, Elza completed the Terra.do Climate Change: Learning for Action Fellowship in 2024.
Active in her community, Elza is a member of Work on Climate and serves as the Chicago City Lead for Women and Climate. She lives in Chicago with her husband and their small dog, Mr. Bennett, and enjoys outdoor adventures, trips to visit friends and family in Latvia, and gardening.
