Gisele McAuliffe
Gisele McAuliffe has designed public interest marketing and advocacy programs for changemakers in the U.S. and abroad.
She began her career as a storyteller, reporting in the U.S., Europe and Africa for CBS Network TV News, CNN, United Press International Radio, Radio France Internationale, and Deutsche Welle Radio.
Discovering a passion for conservation and social impact issues, Gisele applied her journalism skills for mission-driven organizations. She directed communications for the American Red Cross Disaster Services, Wilderness Society, and World Wildlife Fund Global Climate Change Campaign.
As a consultant, she designed and managed marketing and advocacy communications for the Center for Clean Air Policy, Climate Science Legal Defense Fund, Water Information Sharing and Analysis Center, and World Wildlife Fund’s Food and Freshwater Program.
For the Gates Foundation, she created a framework to convince leaders in nine low-income countries to expand public access to water, sanitation, and hygiene. At the Niger Delta Partnerships Initiative Foundation, she produced content and co-designed events that increased online engagement by 6 million people and helped raise $92 million.
Gisele holds a Bachelor’s in Communications from New York University and is an adjunct instructor of public interest communications for the University of Florida.
